According to Jesus, the church should be a city within the city that exists not just for itself, but for the good of the people of the city (Matt 5:14).
We call ourselves “City Church” in order to be constantly reminded that we are not a members’ club, but a gospel-centered people living outward focused lives in Murfreesboro for the good of the city and glory of God.
