Need
Murfreesboro has been identified as the 12th fastest growing city in the country, growing by 50% since 2000. Of the 105,000 people now living there, over 75% don’t have a church. We want to be a church that reaches those who aren’t looking for a church.
People
Those numbers represent individual lives and families. The city is made up of the students of MTSU (the largest undergraduate population in the state), young professionals moving to the city for jobs, and families who recognize that Murfreesboro is a great place to raise kids. This 18-35 yr old demographic is rapidly leaving the church. We want to love them and live out the gospel in their context.
Place
Simply put, we love the city. Murfreesboro is a great place to live and plant our lives. We are ready to give our lives to see the city of Murfreesboro understand and respond to the gospel, bringing hope and transformation to many lives.
